2014 COGEL Conference in Pittsburgh
It’s time to start thinking about the 2014 COGEL Conference! The dates have been announced for the first week in December from the 7th through the 10th and will be held at the luxurious and Historic Omni William Penn Hotel. This hotel has a five star rating and has many amenities we think you will love. Right in the hotel you will be steps away from fine dining at The Terrace Room, and taken back in time to a 1920’s speakeasy located just below the hotel lobby. Located next to the famous Mellon Square in Downtown Pittsburgh, this hotel is accessible to nearby shopping boutiques, historical attractions, and culture to attract any traveler.
Pittsburgh 2014: Planning Well Underway for Dynamic Conference
Four days. Over 35 educational sessions.
Countless connections and opportunities.
Planning is well underway for the 2014 COGEL Conference, which travels to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Conference Program Committee, co-chaired by Darrin Lim of Nielsen Merksamer in California and Nola Western of Elections BC in British Columbia, met in late February to develop the framework for the 36th annual conference. The committee is now in the process of developing over 35 sessions, which cover the latest issues to face the COGEL community and tackle important professional development challenges.
A “first look” of the 2014 COGEL Conference is now available. Please note that sessions are subject to change as this “first look” simply reflects the Program Committee’s initial vision for the conference.
