agencies, boards, and offices responsible for the administration and regulation
of governmental ethics throughout the United States and Canada. Through our Web
site, members have exclusive access to an online database directory.
You have the capability of customizing and posting unlimited job openings that are vacant within your agency. Career postings are currently only searchable by COGEL members.
Our on-line discussion groups and forums offer member support on general or specific law
subjects. Posting or answering questions leverages the wealth of information of
our membership body. These forums are private and open only to other COGEL
Programs and materials for the purpose of educating members are available. We also
encourage COGEL members to share this information with interested members of
the general public.
The COGEL Blue Books are an annual compendium of legal updates in the fields of Campaign Finance, Lobbying, and Ethics. They are produced by COGEL members for COGEL members and are presented at the annual conference.
The Guardian- a periodic informative newsletter covering the most recent agency actions around the country, including administrative hearings, legislative activities and court activities in various areas of interest to COGEL members.
News You Can Use is a weekly summary of national news focused on Ethics, Lobbying, and Campaign Finance produced by State and Federal Communications and provided free of charge to COGEL members. State and Federal Communications researchers scour articles printed in papers across the country, and write short informative summaries of each. The unprecedented "News You Can Use" resource offers: hundreds of article highlights and overviews every month, references from newspapers throughout the county, and timely, informative and up-to-the minute news.
