Danielle L. McGee

Danielle L. McGee is the Executive Director and General Counsel of the Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission, an independent state agency responsible for adjudicating disputes and issuing binding decisions on public access to government records and meetings. Before assuming her current role, Ms. McGee served as a staff attorney with the Commission, where she acted as a hearing officer, mediator, and appellate counsel. Prior to joining the Commission, she represented parents of children with disabilities in special education matters. Ms. McGee earned her B.A. from Fairfield University and her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
